Afterschool Club.
This year has been a lot quieter than
the last few years both in after
school and holiday care, due largely
to the down turn in the economy
however we are looking forward to
September when we are expecting a very
healthy intake of children from all
three schools that we pick up from.
Over the past 15 years that we have
operated we have set ourselves a high
standard of a good quality childcare
service this we aim to maintain. The
other big talking point from parents
and children is of course about the
new club we will be getting. Some
parents took their children to see the
plans when they were displayed in the
Library. The response from the
children was they were very excited.
They loved the idea that they will be
able to just open the doors and enter
the outside playing area however they
thought that the building work should
have started straight away when the
old swimming bath site was demolished!
Stella School Breakfast Club
It has been yet another busy year at
breakfast club. This year we have had
a lot of new children attending which
bodes well for the future. The
relationship with the school has grown
with two of our workers also working
at school as dinner nannies. Our
workers have also helped out at the
school fete and by helping to take
children to the Christmas pantomime.
This is our fifth term at the school
and we hope that we will continue for
many years to come.
